Established in 2016 through a strategic foreign joint venture, AUSTROPOWER was founded with the mission to deliver high-performance, sustainable energy solutions. Backed by a global team of power plant professionals, we began operations with a 5 MW natural gas engine project, which rapidly expanded to 11.5 MW within the first year — a testament to our technical expertise and project execution capabilities.
Over the years, we have successfully operated our power plant based on advanced Iranian engineering, while continuously benefiting from the support and collaboration of leading European technology partners. This unique synergy enables us to offer dependable, efficient, and environmentally conscious power generation aligned with global best practices.
Energy Solutions
At AUSTROPOWER, we operate a high-efficiency natural gas engine power plant connected to the national grid, generating and supplying electricity with reliability and flexibility. As an authorized energy producer, we are entitled to sell up to 50% of our output on the energy exchange, contributing to grid stability while maintaining a strong commercial position in the market.
In parallel with our generation activities, we offer complete turnkey solutions for clients aiming to establish their own natural gas engine power plants. Our services cover the full lifecycle — from feasibility studies and regulatory approvals to engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. We specialize in projects ranging from 100 kW to 25 MW, utilizing top-tier European engine brands to ensure high performance, long-term reliability, and environmental compliance.
